The incumbent shall be highly trained with proven experience working in an emergency room or urgent care setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Assessing patients who enter the emergency room immediately and overseeing emergency recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conducting follow-up visits to monitor the patient\u2019s condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Requesting the appropriate medical tests and based on them, following a treatment plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Developing effective patient care plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Referring patients to appropriate specialists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ensuring that patients are stable before transferring them to the proper department for further evaluation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Providing instructions for discharge and any relevant paperwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maintaining patients&#8217; medical records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Coordinating with different ER departments to ensure patients receive the necessary treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Actively participate in the planning and implementation of the department development plans and the different manpower training programs for the medical, technical and nursing staff in his\/her area of expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participates in the various committees for the upgrading of services and organization of work within and outside the hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participates in scheduling of on-call duties and provides on-call services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participates in the assessment and updating of drug, medical supply and equipment needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participates in research activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Performs special procedures as privileged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adheres to policies, guidelines, plans and programs of the organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Performs other duties as assigned\/directed by the Head of the department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Job Knowledge &amp; Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Current and in a good standing medical license to practice in country of residence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Provides high quality care to patients in this area of medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Communication skills to explain complex medical information, procedures, answer questions to patients and their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Technical skills to perform procedures and analyze data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Technical skills to interpret medical records, scan patient data and interpret test results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ability to think and act quickly in a stressful environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Perfect vision and visuospatial awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Supervise fellows, staff\/assistant physicians and residents The ability to work well alone and within a team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Job Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5 years of experience in the similar role<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 years in GCC (preferred)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Education<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Specialty Degree\/Board in Emergency Medicine<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in General Medicine<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/elegancia-healthcare\/jobs\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/elegancia-healthcare\/jobs\/\">Apply Now<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Clinical Nurse &#8211; Labour and Delivery\u00a0Job Summary Provides nursing care in an effective and safe manner to a select group of patients and families, carries out established nursing regimes, and plans of nursing care under the guidance of a preceptor or other designated RN.
